God put it in my heart to use the money for MOSAIC because my church has done several things for them in the past. Like Christmas parties. MOSAIC provides help for special needs adults, who will need support their entire lives, so I called the director of the organization to find out how our $100 could help. She suggested that we sponsor one of the adults by buying gifts for Christmas from their wish list.
I chose an older woman. I was able to buy her a full size comforter, a set of towels, a set of full sized sheets, a nightgown, some velour pants, a shirt to go with her pants and a package of underwear. In addition to that, I bought her a pillow and a beading set because she likes to make bracelets for her friends, and some body spray and lotion. She is a 57 year old woman who is very quiet, yet very sweet. She says very little. She will probably never know who gave her the gifts, but like a child on Christmas morning, she will be so excited.
I know this money has gone toward encouraging someone.
